Doctor of Urogynecology at AUUA

Keri Wong, MD

Dr. Keri Wong is a fellowship trained Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology) physician. She specializes in a variety of pelvic floor disorders, including: pelvic prolapse, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, painful bladder, and pelvic pain. She believes in individualized care and works with patients to find the best approach for alleviating their symptoms and problems. Using evidenced based medicine, she focuses on restoring quality of life so her patients can participate in the activities of their choosing and enjoy life.

Dr. Wong grew up in Northern California as the oldest of three children where she graduated as valedictorian of her high school. She obtained her B.S. from UC Davis in Genetics with highest honors and was inducted into both Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. Her participation in competitive gymnastics through college contributed to her desire to enter the practice of medicine with the goal of helping restore function and quality of life to individuals. She attended the prestigious University of California San Francisco Medical School as a UC Regents Scholar. While in medical school, she spent time in Guatemala learning the language and providing medical care to underserved communities. Afterwards, she completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at UCLA and a three year fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

Dr. Wong is excited to move to Phoenix’s west valley after two years with the largest private practice urology group in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. While in Minnesota, she was part of a multidisciplinary group, working jointly with urologist and colon and rectal surgeons on complex patients in a pelvic floor disorders clinic. She also served as one of the physicians for Center for Continence Care.

Dr. Wong continues to expand upon her knowledge and skills to ensure she provides the most up to date and best available care to her patients. She is versed in minimally invasive surgery and the latest in advances for bladder disorders, including neuromodulation and the use of Botox. She attends and has presented at local and national meetings and has several publications on her research.

In her spare time, Dr. Wong enjoys cooking, singing, and spending time with her three children and husband.
