Doctor of Urology at AUUA

Justin Campagna, MD

Dr. Justin Campagna is a urologic surgeon who is excited to bring his clinical and surgical expertise to the Valley. Dr. Campagna believes the pillars of patient care include patient education, shared decision making, clinical knowledge and surgical excellence. Through this framework he strives to build a relationship with each patient and provide excellent patient care.

Dr. Campagna grew up in Bloomington, MN and received his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at the University of Minnesota where he graduated With Distinction. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School, where he earned the Distinction of Honors for his pre-clinical years and was awarded membership into the esteemed Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society during his clinical years.

He then completed a five-year urology residency at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Arizona where he trained with faculty who are leaders in the field of urology. During his time there he trained in the full scope of urology, with emphasis in minimally invasive robotic surgery for the treatment of benign and cancerous conditions, the treatment and prevention of kidney stones, urinary incontinence and BPH/prostate enlargement. He received extensive training in holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP), a highly subspecialized surgery for treating BPH/prostate enlargement, and he is excited to offer this treatment option to his patients in the Valley. During his training he co-authored peer-reviewed publications, presented at local and national conferences, participated in quality improvement and was awarded the Eric S. Wisenbaugh MD Resident Award for his contributions in support of his urology colleagues.

In his spare time, Dr. Campagna enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on the Vikings and the Golden Gophers, attending rock and country concerts, golf and boating.
