Christina L. Rogers, DO, MBA

Christina L. Rogers, D.O. completed a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology) fellowship and is dual board certified in both OB/GYN and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Rogers specializes in the treatment of urogynecologic conditions including, but not limited to: pelvic floor disorders such as bowel and bladder incontinence, recurrent cystitis, pelvic organ prolapse, and pelvic floor dysfunction. In addition, she also treats more complex urogynecological conditions such as fistulas, diverticuli, and mesh complications.

Dr. Rogers grew up in Wyoming and enjoys all outdoor activities. After completing her initial Army enlistment, Dr. Rogers earned her BS in Biology at the University of Colorado. During this time, she was a member of the Colorado Army National Guard and participated in military medical missions to both Nicaragua and Honduras, serving the indigenous people. Dr. Rogers was also deployed overseas to support Operation Iraqi Freedom as a medic. She returned home with a determination to become a physician for women. She attended the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences for her medical degree while simultaneously earning a Masters of Business Administration in Health Care Leadership from Rockhurst University, Helzberg School of Management, graduating both in 2005. Dr. Rogers completed a four-year Obstetrics-Gynecology residency at Walter Reed National Military Center in 2009. During this time, she deployed to Peru for a military medical mission with a focus on urogynecologic surgeries.

Dr. Rogers was selected for the highly competitive Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 2013. During fellowship, she deployed with the USNS Comfort to perform complex hysterectomies and urogynecologic surgeries for the indigenous people of Jamacia and Nicaragua. Upon completion of her fellowship training, she relocated to Womack Army Medical Center in Ft. Bragg, NC, where she was the Urogynecology Division Chief and Assistant Program Director for the OB/GYN residency program. She published several articles during this time and won the Presidential Prize Paper at the 44th Annual Society of Gynecologic Surgeons Conference for her research on pain and urogynecologic surgery.

As a faculty physician and Assistant Program Director at Womack Army Medical Center in Ft. Bragg, NC, Dr. Rogers trained residents in both OB/GYN and Urogynecology. She attended the Surgeon Education Scholars Program and shared her excitement in teaching surgical techniques with her residents. Chosen as the Resident Teacher of the Year in 2018, she mentored residents in both research and best surgical practices. Dr. Rogers completed her military career in El Paso, TX, at William Beaumont Army Center as the Department Vice Chair and Urogynecology Chief, retiring in 2022 after 28 years of military service.

Dr. Rogers recently moved to Phoenix and is excited to provide personal and innovative urogynecologic care to the women of Arizona. Her sub-specialty fellowship training gives her a unique perspective on the management of numerous complex urogynecologic conditions. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, and a longstanding member of the American Urogynecologic Society.
