Colleen is born and raised in Yakima, Washington. She attended Central Washington University in 2007 earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. During undergraduate years she worked at an Athletic club as well as helping her husband run a group home for at-risk youth. She then relocated to Southern California to attend Western University of Health Sciences where she earned a Master of Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies. She became NCCPA certified in 2010. From there she joined a rural Urology Clinic in Grays Harbor Washington in a medically underserved community. She remained there for 7 years until she relocated to join AUUA.
She has experience in General Urology, particularly stone disease, BPH, Prostate and bladder cancer, InterStim programming, and Urodynamic evaluation.
She and her husband decided to relocate to the area with their two boys to enjoy the many outdoor activities the area has to offer and raise their family.
