Katie Wall was born in Poland, Ohio but moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 2006. She has her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Youngstown State University in 2004. She obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from the University of Phoenix, Tempe campus, in 2010. She has developed a passion for male and female urology after learning from her mentors. She has experience in medical and surgical bariatric medicine and convenient care medicine as a nurse practitioner along with general medical-surgical nursing and intensive care nursing including medical, surgical, cardiac, thoracic and transplant as a bedside registered nurse. She was awarded membership into the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, XiXi Chapter, Golden Key National Honor Society, and the Centurians as part of her undergraduate studies. She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Arizona Nurse Practitioner Council, Chapter 9 of the Arizona Nurses Association. She is an active member in the urology community by participating in the American Urological Association, the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates (SUNA) and the American Urogynecologic Society. She has participated on the board of directors with the Arizona Nurse Practitioner Council as the public relations chairperson and website manager; National SUNA as a director at large; and AZ Chapter 406 of SUNA as the president. In 2014, she was awarded the Western Regional Member of the Year for SUNA. She has participated in the education of family nurse practitioner students by teaching urology at the University of Phoenix as well as serving as a preceptor to NP, PA and medical students. She has a strong belief in patient and colleague education. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
