AUA Speaks Out Against USPSTF's Opposition to Routine PSA Screenings
The American Urological Association (AUA) disputes the U.S. Preventative Services Task Force's (USPSTF) recommendation against the use of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing. According to AUA's President, Sushil S. Lacy, MD, "there is strong evidence that PSA testing saves lives," attributing the decrease in high-grade, metastatic disease to early diagnosis made possible by routine PSA screening. Read More>>
